Bob Clouser’s Fly Fishing School and Clinic

This will be a unique fly fishing school as fishing for trophy trout will be included into the package schedule.
You will be provided with fly casting instruction, rigging of fly rod, reel, leaders and knots that you will need to know. On stream instructions learning various techniques. Beginners or fly rod anglers that want to add more knowledge are welcome to participate.
The cost for the fly fishing clinic is $350.00 per person for the 2 day school. There is a limit of 10 clients and the school will be filled. Less than 6 clients and the school will be cancelled and the moneys refunded. Please book early to insure participation. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required and the balance must be paid 30 days before the event.

Lodging and food are not included. You must provide your own food. Lodging is available at the school location, Harman’s Log Cabins, Cabins, WV. We recommend that you stay on location at Harman’s Cottages. The lodging fee also includes the fishing privileges.
You will need to bring waders or hip boots, a warm jacket, rain gear, hat, polarized sunglasses, and any other outdoor wear that you are comfortable with. You can bring your own fishing gear or use our gear available at the school. 5 –6 or 7 weight rods are recommended. A net with rubber net bag is a good choice.
Basic instruction we will teach:
• How to choose gear and tackle
• Rigging the outfit
• Essential knots
• Fly casting techniques and styles. (Teaching proper fly casting is our goal.)
• Techniques on the stream to learn how to nymph, streamer and dry fly fish.
• Use of strike indicators
• How to read the water
• How to play, land and safely release the fish.
